PENTAGON’S CLAIM ABOUT MOSCOW

The US Defense Department (Pentagon) contends that Russian war ships will take supplies to Syria. The Pentagon says it is of the conviction that three Russian ships carrying munitions and personnel are prepared to set off for Syria. Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby has said it is believed the ships will go to the Russian naval base in Syria's port city of Tartus. Kirby has said further that the US considers any initiative such as giving support to Syrian Head of State Al Assad's regime or sending weaponry as unacceptable and will not tolerate it at all.
