The government has declared martial law in the region where the Muslims had been displayed.
United Nations aid teams, the only foreign team that can enter the country, said that the death toll was much more than the figures reported by the government and a far lower than the one put forward by the activists.
UN teams noted that the most urgent problem in the region is housing and nutrition.
Meanwhile Islamic Cooperation Organization Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu who harshly condemned the violence targeting the Muslims called the International Community not stand unconcerned.
Ihsanoğlu sent a letter to President Thein Sein and Myanmar's opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
