Prime Minister Erdoğan who held a press conference in Istanbul after attending the ceremony for the signing of the Trans Anatolia Natural Gas Agreement between Turkey and Azerbaican said, in reply to a question by a newsman, that the stance taken by NATO regarding the Syria act made Turkey happy.
He said all 28 members of the alliance condemned the attack and qualified it as unacceptable, which showed that NATO is an indivisible unity and the process was going to be reviewed together.
Prime Minister Erdoğan also said, regarding Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov's statement that Syria's attack should not be considered provocative and a planned act that he did not know what Lavrov based his statement on, adding that what he had said to the Turkish Foreign Minister was different but he changed his rhetoric after meeting the Syrian administrators. He also said that the findings the government had revealed Syria's act was not good-intentioned.
