In a statement he made there, Yıldız said agreement had been reached for a new oil-well in Cyprus. He said further that oil exploration in Cyprus was underway and the drilling went to a depth of 3600 meters. Drilling would go down to 4000 meters, Yıldız said, noting that the results of the exploration would be made public.
He also said that the ongoing exploration in the seas would also be crowned with success sooner or later.
