The biggest journey of a building in Europe has successfully completed.

A historical building in Zurich has been relocated in its entirety using hydraulics and railways tracks. The demanding relocation process took two days to complete. Within the scope of a 2010 plan of railway expansion, the building was on the list of demolition.

However, a real estate agency bought the historical building and decided to relocate it somewhere else.

“You may say its madness. However we saved this historical building from demolition. Now it can survive 100 years or even more,” said the real estate agency owner.
