Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay said that economic relations between Turkey and Bosnia Herzegovina should be further improved.

"Economic relations and trade volume between the two countries is not at the level of political relations. We have the potential to increase this" Atalay said.

The protocol of the 4th term meeting of Turkey-Bosnia Herzegovina Mixed Economic Commission has been signed at a meeting co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay and Bosnia Herzegovina Minister for Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic at the Ministry of Economy.

Atalay said at the meeting that development of economic relations with Bosnia Herzegovina has always been among Turkey's important targets, adding that they will exert efforts to develop these relations.

Bosnia Herzegovina Minister for Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic for his part said that his country is a small market but despite this it attracts the interest of Turkish entrepreneurs.

"Turkey has significantly contributed to the development of Bosnia Herzegovina" Sarovic said.
