Tokyo Mosque gave an iftar dinner to Muslims on Friday.
The iftar dinner brought together Turks, Japanese and people of different nationalities.
Muslims in Japan had a guest at the first iftar dinner of the holy month of Ramadan.
Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan had his first iftar dinner in Japan.
"Now, Friday payers are performed in Turkey whereas we have performed the evening prayer and broken our fast. I wish health, friendship and fraternity for all on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. This month symbolizes fraternity" Çağlayan said.
